In the context of formation of the technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation, the development of science and education is becoming especially important. The challenges currently faced by the economy urge the country to find the new viable solutions and use the utmost capacity of the universities for training the highly qualified personnel and solving high-tech problems. Technological sovereignty implies the endeavour of a country to determine and implement an independent technological policy, free from the external providers of technologies. In this context, several priority directions for the development of science and education have been identified.
For further development of science and education in the context of the technological sovereignty formation, the 2nd International Scientific and Practical Conference on the issues of development of the scientific capacity of the country and provision of the priority industries with the highly qualified personnel is planned to be held in Rostov-on-Don at Don State Technical University on October 15 –16, 2025.
